Digital Skills

Developed to meet computer skill and literacy standards at both the European and international level, our Digital Skills Program addresses the current demand for technical skills in the workplace. The program includes a sequence of cumulative courses covering basic computer use and internet navigation to word processing (Microsoft Word) and spreadsheet proficiency (Microsoft Excel).

Regardless of origin, gender, or status, everyone is welcome to participate in our courses. All interested candidates must:
✓ Be at least 18 years old
✓ Have at least an A2 level in French
✓ Be incredibly motivated to work hard and learn!

4 Different Levels, 1 Path to Digital Literacy

Beginner Level

This 20-hour course introduces students to the basic functions and parts of a computer (the mouse, the keyboard, creating files, using a USB key, etc.), how to navigate and search on the Internet and a short introduction to the Microsoft Office suite.

Intermediate Level

This 20-hour course covers more advanced uses of the Internet, tips on protecting your data and information online, how to create an email account for regular use and delves into advanced use of the Microsoft Office suite (Word).

Advanced Level : getting started with spreadsheet

The culmination of the Digital Program, this course provides students with advanced training in Excel for professional use. This 20-hour course certifies digital literacy skills as established by the PCIE (European Computer Driving Licence) with an internationally-recognized IT skills diploma.

Advanced Level : Web Essentials

This 20h course covers the essentials of email and internet navigation.
