The freelance programWith the development of digital services, companies are using digital freelancing to process large volumes of data to transform it into services (launch of a commercial site, launch of an application, etc). At the same time, legislation in many countries prevents refugees from working in their respective host countries, leaving them without any real opportunity for economic inclusion.
This is why, in partnership with the United Nations High Commissionner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the international NGO - Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS), Konexio is piloting a training program at the Dzaleka camp in Malawi, home to nearly 34,000 refugees. Our program, to be deployed in other countries, is designed to enable our trainees to acquire technical and interpersonal skills by the summer 2020, and therefore work towards attaining financial independence. |
