Field Visit Amman

Konexio’s second stopover took us to Amman, where supported our partners Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS), Jordan, in preparing for a new program launch this summer. The project, set to commence in July with a training of trainers (ToT), will be our first in the MENA region and will provide digital skills training to 60 marginalized youth and refugees across two pilot cohorts, to prepare them for the impacts of the global digital transformation.

Konexio made its long awaited visit to Nairobi, Kenya to meet the local partners and officially launch its digital skills and online freelancing training program in partnership with RefuSHE. The week-long visit played a critical role in fulfilling our mission to promote digital inclusion and allow those who cannot access opportunities due to lack of digital skills to find a pathway to self-reliance and economic resilience.
