The Individual Operational Preparation for Employment program (POEI) is an aid program for companies committed to training job seekers. This scheme is fully funded by France Travail. Through the Individual Operational Preparation for Employment program (POEI), a company receives financial assistance to train an individual registered with France Travail for 400 hours in a role or function that aligns with its recruitment needs.
There are three stages:

The company identifies a recruitment need and expresses its intention to hire. Candidates are selected based on the company's specific criteria.

Upon completion of the Individual Operational Preparation for Employment program (POEI), the company has the option to hire the individual on a permanent, fixed-term, or apprenticeship contract.

The intensive training provided under the Individual Operational Preparation for Employment program (POEI) enables individuals to become proficient in processes and technical environments relevant to the company's business context. This means that, upon recruitment, they can assume key responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the company's business. Subsequently, the apprenticeship program focuses on skill development and preparation for the professional title exam (enhancing the individual's career prospects), while Konexio's support ensures a seamless integration into the workforce.
Under an apprenticeship contract, the company's Skills Operator (OPCO) covers the cost of training. The contract typically lasts from 12 to 24 months.
A grant is provided to organizations for hiring an apprentice:

Up to a maximum of €6,000 for an apprenticeship contract, regardless of age

Up to a maximum of €6,000 for an employee on a professionalization contract up to the age of 29
