MEET OUR STUDENTS
“Tech is coming to a point where it will take over the world. With these skills I’m confident enough that I can maneuver around my environment for a job. [This program] means I can work remotely and earn income from anywhere in the world. It has a significant impact that has increased my flexibility and allowed me to work on my own terms.”
- Nyajuok, DIP student in Nairobi, Kenya |
“We live as refugees in Jordan, hopeless, and placed on a long waiting list for resettlement. We need to work hard for a good life. We are a big family, with five kids of varying ages...Freelance programs can add a lot to life. First, I can work independently and control my time, and it’s important that a mother stays around the home. …. Practicing is the secret, along with patience."
- Manal, DIP student in Amman, Jordan |
"In our community, girls are more looked down upon than boys. [They say] ‘girls cannot do this, girls cannot do that.’ … [But] whatever a boy can do a girl can do better, so I want to show them that, and be a good role model to the ladies."
- Obang, DIP student in Kakuma, Kenya |
KONEXIO'S MISSION AND VISION
“Talent is equally distributed. Opportunity is not.”
Konexio bridges the digital divide and opportunity gap for underserved talent worldwide. We envision a world in which no one is left behind because of lack of digital skills. Konexio’s innovative programs reach highly vulnerable and excluded communities, using digital skills as a launchpad for opportunity. Konexio works closely with employers as an advocate, trainer, and talent pipeline for DEI. Headquartered in France, Konexio is a certified training provider and has trained 4500+ students at 40+ project sites. In Africa and the Middle East, Konexio’s flagship training course is the Digital Inclusion Program (DIP), which equips highly vulnerable refugees with digital literacy and employable skills for the online economy.
